How to cut and join clips without disturbing the whole sequence?

Question : Prabhuji, I want to cut a portion of my video in the middle. I m able to split and delete the middle portion but how to join back the other two end. i cannot drag the one end and join it to the other end because i will have to take care of all the files that are in othe part of the time line.

please help.

Answer : Dear Nijwm Wary Prabhu, if I got your question right, then basically you are in middle of the timeline with all pieces of clips scattered to both the sides of your clip to be cut. Now if you cut a portion of this clip and join the remaining portions, the video sequence will get disturbed.
